Warren Gray began his insurance career in 1989 by transferring from Sears to Allstate Insurance Company. He began his agency by focusing on one insurance type, boat insurance. He worked with all the boat companies in the Baton Rouge area and took care of protecting their customer’s new purchase. By building trust and relationships with his customers, Warren and his wife Sarah built this agency into a thriving business.
The Warren Gray Agency began in Central, where Warren immediately became a member of CABA (Central Area Business Association), which later became the Central Chamber of Commerce. The original office on Sullivan Road in Central is still the main hub for his business.
In August of 2005, the Warren Gray Agency purchased the Mike Milano agency along with the office building on Old Hammond Highway in Baton Rouge. Twenty Seven days later Hurricane Katrina hit the south Louisiana shore.
In June of 2007, the Warren Gray Agency purchased the Ken Sides agency and merged it into the Sullivan Road office location.
In May of 2008, the purchase of the Donald McCrary agency was made and it was merged into the Old Hammond Highway operation.
On January 1st of 2009, the Kim Hebert agency was purchased and also merged into the Old Hammond Highway office.
With every agency that was purchased and merged into the Warren Gray Agency, the staff of those agencies were maintained and brought a wealth of experience and customer service skills to the Warren Gray Agency.
The Warren Gray Agency is very involved in the community; from promoting Fire Safety for children, to promoting Cancer Awareness and supporting the fire departments, local police and sheriff departments and state police.
